What is Winnebago County Doing?

The Winnebago County Health Department and its many partners are working toward a Trauma Informed Community. Groups have been formed to:

• Train and educate the community
• Hold community events and discussions
• Work to address policies and practices
• Reduce re-traumatization

What can you do?

• Attend or host a training.

• Avoid re-traumatization.
  Remember that our everyday interactions with others can cause re-traumatization or help provide hope.
• Join a workgroup.
